Sochi Armenians corroborate tension with Dagestanis

YEREVAN. - Young Armenians of Sochi, Russia, were called in by the law
enforcement agencies in connection with the killing of Yury Garanyan,
an Armenian master of Taekwondo, Chairman Valery Torosyan of the Union
of Sochi Armenians told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
To note, a huge fight had broke in Sochi on May 1 in which around 100
people were involved. As a result, one of those involved - namely,
Sochi's well-known athlete, master of Taekwondo, Yury Garanyan, 24 - had
died of a stab wound.
Valery Torosyan informed that the young Armenians who were called in
to the Police were asked to provide information as to what had
transpired.
Also, Torosyan corroborated the growing tension with the Dagestanis.
`They are rude, they provoke, [and] follow women,' he added.
Valery Torosyan informed that an international roundtable discussion
on this topic will be held on Saturday in Adler, Russia.
