ARMENIA AND IRAN TO EXPAND INTER-PROVINCE COOPERATION

YEREVAN, MAY 15, ARMENPRESS: Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia,
Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan received
Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Saghaian on the occasion of
completing his diplomatic mission.
As press service of Territorial Administration Ministry told
Armenpress, Armen Gevorgyan thanked the ambassador for the productive
cooperation, stressing that it has been expanding in the recent years.
There are important and interesting new projects on the agenda of
the bilateral relations, the implementation of which will promote
rise of the volumes of the trade turnover.
Armen Gevorgyan described as productive the decentralized cooperation
as well. The inter-province ties are dynamically developing between
Armenia and Iran and are expanding the geography. The Deputy Prime
Minister pointed out the ambassador's personal contribution to the
works and wished successes to the diplomat in his further activity.
The ambassador, for his part, expressed gratification on the
development process of Armenian-Iranian relations, underlining that
the programs indicated for the recent years have been successfully
implemented, and the new ones open wide prospects of cooperation.
Referring to inter-province cooperation, he said that they include
all the spheres.
The diplomat added that he leaves with good memories and will continue
to maintain the tie with Armenia.
