The talks and promises of the authorities that the parliamentary
election on 6 May had to become the most fair and democratic ones in
Armenia, have remained such only in talks, political expert, Andreas
Gukasyan, said at today's press-conference.
"I think that international observers will express similar viewpoint
in their final report. Our society is still under the influence of
fear. For this reason, it is unable to express their positions and
views free. The main reason of that is the fact that we do not have a
formed legal state and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan reiterated
many times that we still have to form a legal state", - Gukasyan said.
He also added that the Armenian authorities could not reach new
quality in holding of electoral processes. The fact that 10 days have
passed since the election day, but it is not clear yet what government
Armenia will have, is evidence of that.
