THE YEAR WILL BE FULL OF FESTIVALS CONCERNING ARMENIAN CUISINE

YEREVAN, MAY 16, ARMENPRESS: Annual festivals concerning Armenian
cuisine will be held in Armenia this year. Exhibition-testing will
be held on June 12 in the square of Erebuni administrative district.
During the exhibition dishes that from different centuries will be
presented. Armenpress reports that about this informed president of
public organization "Keeping and development of Armenian culinary
traditions" Sedrak Mamulyan during the meeting with journalists on May
16. In his words invitations have been sent to a number of countries
and ethnic minorities of Armenia to take part in the festival.
Festival of "Dolma" will be held on July 11. Several dozen versions of
"Dolma" will be presented and on August 11 will be celebrated new year
according to old calendar. The event will be called "Tonratun". It
will be held in Caghkunk village of Gegharkunik region.
On September 8 and October 8 will be held "Khorovach" and "Wine"
festivals. Mamulyan stressed the importance of holding such events
highlighting that cuisine had great place in tourism offers.
