PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the head of South Caucasus department
at CIS states institute, recent regional developments will add new
shades to Armenia-Russia relations.
"Past and future elections in South Caucasus (South Ossetia, Abkhazia,
Armenia) and Russia have already caused significant change in regional
situation," Felix Stanevsky said.
"In view of current developments, a necessity will occur for
Armenia and Russia to confirm their stance on conflicts in Syria,
Iran and other troubled countries. Election of a new U.S. president
and alteration of America's position on Armenia and Azerbaijan may
also affect the state of affairs," the expert said, however, noting
that stability in Yerevan-Moscow relations will remain unaffected.
