GERMAN PLASTIC SURGEON TO OPERATE ON GAS-BALLOON BLAST VICTIMS

A German plastic and reconstructive surgeon Adrien Daigler has been
invited to Armenia to operate on the victims of gas-balloon blast
in Yerevan Republic Square, spokesperson for the Healthcare ministry
Shushan Hunanyan told Tert.am.
The German professor met yesterday with the Healthcare minister
Harutyun Kushkyan to speak over the details. The doctor has been
invited with the assignment of the President Serzh Sargsyan.
As of the moment, there is no complete information on how many plastic
surgeries are needed. Currently there are 54 people in the hospital.
The German surgeon and the Armenian minister discussed the necessity
of taking or not taking the victims abroad for surgery.
Adrien Daigler is considered one of the best specialists of plastic
surgery in the world.
About 154 people have suffered from the explosion of balloons at the
ruling Republican party's campaign rally on May 4.
