FRENCH AMBASSADOR RECONFIRMED HOLLAND'S READINESS TO CRIMINALIZE THE DENIAL OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

YEREVAN, MAY 18, ARMENPRESS: The bill criminalizing denial of Armenian
genocide in France is not directed only to Turks, but everyone who
denies that fact. Armenpress reports calling Nouvelles d'Armenie that
about this declared Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
France to Turkey Laurent Bili.
"President Hollande will present a new project on this occasion which
will correspond fully to our Constitution" stressed Bili.
At the same time Bili reconfirmed France's readiness to improve
relations with Turkey in all spheres.
Socialist Francois Hollande before being elected as French President
had declared many times that he was going to present new bill
criminalizing denial of Armenian genocide.
