ARMENIAN STATE BUDGET REVENUES ARE INADEQUATELY COLLECTED - NEWSPAPER

YEREVAN. - In line with the data publicized by Armenia's State Revenue
Committee, the state budget revenues were inadequately collected in
the first four months of this year, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.
"The growth was a mere 3.1 percent as compared with January-April of
last year.
This year's state budget revenues must increase by at least 11 percent,
as compared with the year past, but the growth was 3.1 percent.
It is noteworthy that the value-added-tax revenues in these four
months were lot lower than the same time period last year.
And if we convert the revenues into dollars, it will turn out that the
budget revenues have reduced in the first four months of this year,
as compared with the year past.
As it seems, Armenia's economic situation is worse than could have
been imagined," Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.
