The police no longer conduct monthly meetings with the journalists
interested in the investigation March 1, 2008 post-electoral turmoil
in Yerevan, the paper says, citing the police sources.
Vaghinak Zanazanyan, the chief of an investigative group dealing
with the criminal case, told the paper on Monday that they have had
no news since the publication of a recent report.
"As soon as there is something new we will initiate a meeting with
the media to tell them everything," he was quoted as saying.
Zanazanyan also told the paper that the monthly meetings will resume
provided there is a public interest in the case.
