GAVAR, MAY 22, ARMENPRESS: For the next time American writer and
photographer Robert Beckman Breen is in Armenia who published the book
"Christianity on crossroads Armenia" on April of this year.

In the book is told about 25 monuments of Armenia and Artsakh -
Geghard, Sanahin, Gandzasar, Areni, Goshavank, Makravank, Noravank
and other Churches and Monasteries with the help photos, encyclopedic
information, impressions and comments of the author. Being in Armenia
for the 4-th time Robert continues to gather rich information about
historic monuments, culture and art of Armenia and Artsakh as well as
people living there. The frame of his visits also includes Gegharkunik
region. Today American writer and photographer visited an orphanage
in Gavar and "Geghama Ashkharh" newspaper, got acquainted with the
works of the only printing media in the region, life-style and daily
    life of the children.

Answering to Armenpress' questions Robert Beckman Breen mentioned
that he speaks about Armenians only with good words, as he writes in
the book "Christianity on crossroads Armenia": "Armenians live with
hard life, but there is a smile in their eyes, there is a love and
they embrace me not with arms, but with soul and heart".

Breen mentioned that he was born in 1958 in state Ohio in a family
of intelligent. About Armenians and Armenia knew only when he was
adult with the help of one Armenian girl - Lusine Dashyan whom he had
considered as the smile of his life and dedicated his book. He thinks
that Armenian culture is special. All Armenian young people whom he
has associated with are very clever, literate and educated. They don't
only know or make national culture and art but are well acquainted
    with international culture and art.

To the question how much similar are the monuments of Armenia and
Artsakh in a view of a foreigner he answered: "I have been in Artsakh
for three times and every time I have been impressed another way
by its people, monuments, nature. I have been in Dadivank, Shoushi,
Gandzasar. I don't apart Armenian and Artsakhian people; they are the
same people with their language, culture and essence. And the nature
    of Artsakh is wonderful.

At the end Breen said he loved and missed Armenia and Armenians,
he would visit Armenia every year presenting Armenia to people of
    English speaking world.
