Leader of the People's Party Tigran Karapetyan is sure the "Diversity
Parade" conducted on May 21 in Yerevan is nothing else but an attempt
to divert people's attention from post-electoral developments.
They have made up a gay parade to make people forget about the
elections, he said. "There cannot be such a shameful thing in Armenia,"
Karapetyan said.
Tigran Karapetyan noted he is so much disappointed from the elections
that is going to take a political vacation.
"They have fully bought the people. Communists deprived the people
of faith, the current authorities of dignity," Karapetyan said,
referring to elections.
He said he has bought tickets for June 4 and will depart from Armenia.
The party's leader did not elaborate on how long his rest will last
and on whether he will run for presidency in 2013 or not. The only
answer was "We'll see".
