YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS: For Armenian-Turkish relations regulation
both sides must make great efforts. Armenpress reports that about
this mentioned head of the Turkish delegation in Black Sea Economic
Cooperation Organization's Parliamentary Assembly Ismail Safi during
the briefing with journalists in Yerevan. "Besides closed borders we
have many other problems and must consider them in total and try to
find solutions" said Safi.
The deputy did not refuse the traditional Turkish destructive position
continuing to insist that Nagorno-Karabakh issue and Armenian-Turkish
relations are interconnected. Safi did not refuse the statements
that Armenian Diaspora impedes the regulation of Armenian-Turkish
relations too.
Safi, however, mentioned that international cooperation as in framework
of BSEC PA could be favorable for the regulation of two countries.
