Viktor Soghomonyan, spokesman for Armenia's second president Robert
Kocharyan, dismissed the news about Kocharyan's Moscow visit.
However, speaking to Tert.am, Soghomonyan confirmed that Kocharyan
is not in the republic currently, saying he has left abroad for a
private visit.
Zhoghovurd paper wrote today that Armenia's second president is in
Moscow for already three days failing to meet with Russian President
Vladimir Putin. "Though Kocharyan is in Moscow for already three days
no decision over Armenia has been made yet. He has been told to wait.
The meeting may take place today to decide whether the Prosperous
Armenia party should form a coalition or not," the paper wrote.
