Those who organized the "black PR" would like the campaign, conducted
against the Eurovision song contest not to finish this way, Deputy
Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party, MP Mubariz Gurbanli
told the official website of the party today.

"The attempts of anti-Azerbaijani circles to diminish Azerbaijan
did not give the expected result," he said. "First of all, it is
necessary to emphasize the specific policy conducted by the Azerbaijani
President, a high level of preparation for the Eurovision song contest,
the activity of the patriotic part of the Azerbaijani media.

That is, we fought back the campaign implemented by anti-Azerbaijani
circles amid this situation. But the most important fact is that
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's successful policy has played a
great role in repelling the blows to Azerbaijan."

"Holding the Eurovision song contest in Baku is an indispensable event
in terms of propaganda and promotion of our success in the cultural
sphere along with Azerbaijan's economic and political success,"
    he said.

"Black PR" is being conducted against Azerbaijan on the eve of the
    Eurovision song contest, he added.

"Who is the most concerned about our moral and political superiority
in this contest? He stressed. "First of all, Armenia, the Armenian
lobby, because Azerbaijan's every success confirms our superiority over
it. That is why it bothers the Armenian lobby. Of course, concerned
Armenians put all efforts to prevent this event to belittle it in
    the eyes of others."

"Some internal circles, the radical opposition are trying to abuse
    the situation," he added.

While regretting about the involvement of internal political circles
in the "black PR" campaign, MP said the circles play the role of the
"fifth column" in the anti-Azerbaijani campaign.

"The attempt of conducting illegal actions in Baku is in fact nothing
more than an attempt to harm the Eurovision song contest and to strike
Azerbaijan's positive image in one form or another. But the radical
circles can not and will fail to achieve the desired result, because
Azerbaijani people don't support and will never support them," he said.

All this shows that there is a relationship between the Armenian
lobby and the Iranian circles. This activity is governed from a single
center, Gurbanli said, commenting on the calls voiced in Iran against
    the Eurovision song contest.

"That is, certain circles, as well as a number of groups of Iranian
existing regime repeat the actions of the Armenian lobby and carry
out its orders. The rallies organized in Tabriz can be shown as
an example. The statements made at these meetings are identical
to the materials, which are placed by the Armenian lobby in the
foreign press. Those who organize the rallies in Tabriz, as well
as the circles, which do not want Azerbaijan's development and are
concerned about the increased role of the republic in the region have
the relations with the Armenian lobby," he said.

Gurbanli said there are forces in Iran that are interested in
developing the relations between the two countries, condemning the
unpleasant events occurring between the two countries.

"Anti-Azerbaijani groups in Iran are those who are serving to the
past. These are the groups cooperating with aggressive Armenia,
damaging the Iranian-Azerbaijani relations. If we analyze the
anti-Azerbaijani articles in the Iranian press, we can say with
confidence that the ideas there are completely based on a lie,"
    he added.
