Karen Karapetyan, former head of the president's office, may become
the prime Minister of Armenia, News Armenia reports.
The official may either be appointed now or in 8 months, after the
presidential polls. Karapetyan is favourable for the Republican Party
and prosperous Armenia. Russia approves the candidate as well.
Former Speaker of Parliament Ovik Abramyan will become the new Speaker,
Samvel Nikoyan will become the Vice Speaker.
Nikoyan and Abramyan are in bad terms. Abramyan will do his best to
have Galust Saakyan become the Vice Speaker. Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsyan insisted on Nikoyan taking the position. Saakyan will continue
supervising the republicans. Vice Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov will
become the secretary of the Republican Party.
