RAILWAY LINE TO "ZVARTNOTS" AIRPORT CAN BE BUILT IN A YEAR

YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS: The building of railway line from metro
"Charbakh" station to "Zvatrnots" international airports" can be
implemented in a year. Armenpress reports that about this declared
Director General of CJSC "South Caucasus railway" Victor Rebets during
the press conference on May 24. In his words at present the preparation
of program's design-pre-calculation documents is in process in result
of which will be done the total calculation of necessary costs.
The length of main projected railway is 7800 meters, from which 5350
meters are to be built. It is also planned to build 850 meters long
railway tunnel.
The implementation of the project will give the opportunity to join
the passenger terminal of the airport with railway line to metro
"Charbakh" station and cargo terminal with "Karmir blur" station.
