ESTONIA SUPPORTS EXCLUSIVELY PEACEFUL SETTLEMENT OF NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT

YEREVAN, MAY 25, ARMENPRESS: On May 24, Estonian Foreign Minister
Urmas Paet received Armenian Ambassador Ara Ayvazyan. They discussed
a range of issues of the bilateral and multilateral agenda, as well
as referred to regional issues.
During the meeting the latest developments of the negotiation process
of the Karabakh conflict were also discussed, Foreign Affairs Ministry
press service told Armenpress.
In that context the Foreign Minister of Estonia stressed that his
country is supporting exclusively peaceful settlement of the Karabakh
conflict -- by means of equal application of the basic principles of
International Law.
The Minister, highlighting the significance of periodical high level
contacts for further development of bilateral relations, reconfirmed
the official invitation of visiting Estonia addressed to his Armenian
counterpart.
On May 23, Ambassador Ayvazyan had met with Jaak Aaviksoo, Estonian
Education and Research Minister. During the meeting the prospects
of establishment of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of education
were discussed.
