Exhibition dedicated to May 28 celebrations opens in Romania

BUCHAREST. - The Armenian Embassy in Romania and the Armenian Union of
Romania organized celebrations on May 27 dedicated to Armenia's First
Republic Day. An exhibition opened in the cultural center of the
Armenian Union.
Armenian Ambassador to Romania Hamlet Gasparyan, Leader of the
Armenian Diocese in Romania Father Tatev Hakobyan and the chairman of
the Armenian Union, Senator Varujan Vosganian came up with speeches.
`If we know our history and norms we can be proud for what a strong
and gifted nation we are and what contribution we made to development
of the civilizations from the Caucasus to Cappadocia, from Pontus to
the Mediterranean, from Mesopotamia to the Balkans,' Ambassador Hamlet
Gasparyan said addressing the Armenians of Romania.
