MEDVEDEV AND SARGSYAN DISCUSSED ECONOMIC CONTACTS OF TWO STATES

YEREVAN, May 30. /ARKA/. The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev
has discussed the issues related to development of mutual economic
cooperation with his Armenian counterpart Tigran Sargsyan at the
meeting of CIS head of governments in Ashkhabad.
"We have a traditional agenda, and I have an idea of what kind of
questions you will ask, but nevertheless, we can discuss any issues
related to development of economic and humanitarian ties between
Russia and Armenia," Medvedev said at the meeting opening.
On his side, Sargsyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance
to progressing relations with Russia.
"Russia is our strategic ally and a number one economic partner,
Russian investments in our economy reach over 60%," the Armenian Prime
Minister said adding that Yerevan is deeply interested in developing
this cooperation.
