PUTIN TO VISIT ARMENIA THIS YEAR

YEREVAN.- Russian leader Vladimir Putin is likely to visit Armenia
this year.
Director of the Institute of CIS States Konstantin Zatulin told
reporters in Yerevan that according to diplomatic sources preparation
for the state visit is underway.
The date of the visit is being discussed. One of the proposals is
to organize the visit on September 7 when Armenia will host CSTO's
Collective Rapid Reaction Force exercise.
"September 7 is a historic date - the day of the Battle of Borodino,"
he emphasized.
