AZERBAIJANI FOREIGN MINISTRY SPOKESMAN GIVES LECTURE IN SOUTH AFRICA

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev, who is
on a visit to South Africa, made a presentation on the topic of
multiculturalism and the role of Azerbaijan in the dialogue of
cultures at the International Center of Research SAIIA in Cape Town,
the Foreign Ministry told Trend on Tuesday.
The event was attended by academics of Cape Town, business people,
interested in establishing business relations with Azerbaijan, as
well as representatives of public organizations.
Abdullayev noted that Azerbaijan hosted several large-scale events on
Humanitarian Dialogue, and the dialogue of cultures and civilizations,
and told the participants about the growing role of Azerbaijan in
this sphere.
Elman Abdullayev gave a lecture on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at
the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South
Africa on Tuesday.
Abdullayev informed about the dire consequences of the
Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, about one million Azerbaijani refugees,
forced to leave their homes, noted the passivity of the international
community in resolving the conflict.
