Czech Senate chairman Milan Stech has strictly criticized Hungary's
government for extradition of Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov to
Azerbaijan, he said speaking to Azatutyun.am.
"The decision of the Hungarian authorities contradicts the
international law. A murderer cannot be in freedom and be glorified,"
Stech said. Armenia's National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan
is in Prague together with MPs Artak Zakaryan, Elinar Vardanyan and
Karine Atchemyan.
The Czech Senate's Foreign Relations, Defense and Security Affairs
Committee has adopted a special resolution previous week stressing that
the Azerbaijani president's decision may result in the escalation of
the tension in relations of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Hovik Abrahamyan
stated that Czech authorities have balanced position in regional
conflicts.
During the visit the NA chairman is going to apply to the Czech
government to give Czech consulate general an opportunity to provide
entrance visas to Armenia's citizens.
