ELINA DANIELYAN AND LILIT MKRTCHYAN ARE INCLUDED IN FIDE RANKING LIST

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. FIDE has published the new
international ranking list of the strongest chess players of the
world for November 1, 2012. As the Chess Federation of the Republic
of Armenia informed "Armenpress" Armenian women chess players Elina
Danielyan and Lilit Lazarian are involved in the list of top 100
women chess players of the world. Elina Danielyan has 2476 points
and occupies the 25th place. As to Lilit Lazarian she has scored
2457 points and occupies the 34th place of the list. Hungarian Chess
Grandmaster tops the list with 2705 points. Humpy Koneru from India
with 2610 points and Hou Yifan from China, who scored 2606 points,
occupy the second and the third places respectively.
Elina Danielyan and Lilit Lazarian will represent Armenia in the
Women's World Chess Championship. 64 chess players from 33 different
countries will participate in the championship. The Championship has
a total prize fund of USD 450,000.
