SERIOUS STEPS WILL BE TAKEN FOR THE STATE REGULATION OF THE COST OF MEDICINES

YEREVAN, NOVMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. "The Program for the Solution of
the Issues regarding the State Surveillance and Medicine Policy and
the List of Arrangements for the Realization of the Program" will
become the guide for the activity of the Ministry of Healthcare of
the Republic of Armenia for the next 6-7 months. As the Ministry of
Healthcare informed "Armenpress" the Minister of Healthcare of the
Republic of Armenia Derenik Dumanyan talked about this during the
session of the Ministerial Committee of the Ministry of Healthcare,
where the program approved by the Government of the Republic of
Armenia was under discussion. Dumanyan stated: "This program, which
springs out of the orders of the President of the Republic of Armenia
was approved by the Government two weeks ago."

The Head of the Stuff Suren Kimoyan introduced the program to the
members of the Ministerial Committee and mentioned that the primary
target is the solution of the problem of the state surveillance and
the issues regarding the medicine policy.

In accordance with the order of the Minister of Healthcare of the
Republic of Armenia Derenik Dumanyan before November 20, new schemes
will be developed and approved for the treatment of those illnesses,
when the medicines are distributed free by the ambulatory-polyclinic,
dispenser and hospital medical institutions.
