ARMENIAN-CZECH BUSINESS FORUM WILL BE HELD IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. On the second day of the official
visit to the Czech Republic the Chairman of the National Assembly
of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan had a meeting with the
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the
Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg.
The Department of Information and Public Relations of the National
Assembly of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that the
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic greeted the Chairman
of the National Assembly and emphasized the importance of his visit,
which can have a positive impact on the development of the cooperation
between the two countries. Talking about the Nagorno Karabakh conflict
he underlined the significance of the stability and peace in the
South Caucasus and added that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict must be
regulated by means of negotiations in frames of the OSCE Minsk Group.
Hovik Abrahamyan said that he highly appreciates the balanced position
of the Czech authorities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the
Czech Republic in particular. Also Hovik Abrahamyan expressed his
gratification for the viewpoint of the Czech side on the Safarov's
case.
After the meeting Hovik Abrahamyan was accompanied by the members of
the delegation and visited the prelacy of Prague and went to the hall
of representatives.
At the same day the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic
of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan together with the members of the delegation
visited the National Memorial of Vitkov and placed flowers on the
grave of the Unknown Soldier.
