ARMENIA HAS MADE A SERIOUS PROGRESS IN THE SPHERE OF PEDIATRICS
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. Serious investments have been made
in the sphere of the construction and restoration of the regional
hospitals. As reports "Armenpress" during the third National Conference
of Pediatrics held in Yerevan the Chairman of the Permanent Committee
of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ara Babloyan
mentioned that today we have reconstructed and restored hospitals
complying with the international standards in the regions and the
efficiency of their activity is directly connected with the work of
highly qualified experts.
Babloyan stated: "We have palpable results in the reduction of the
statistics of children's mortality. Notwithstanding the fact of the
palpable reduction of the statistics of children's mortality, we still
have much to do especially for the preservation of health of infants
and in the spheres of surgery of infant and newly born children."
Babloyan also emphasized that the preservation of the health
of children is one of the prerogatives of our country. Also the
improvement of the pediatric services and rise of the salary were
considered as a positive progress at the conference.
The Chairman of the Permanent Committee of the National Assembly of the
Republic of Armenia Ara Babloyan highlighted the following: "We must do
our best for the development of this important sphere of healthcare."
More than 350 pediatricians from all parts of Armenia and the Nagorno
Karabakh Republic participated in the third National Conference of
Pediatrics held in Yerevan.
