Kocharyan's unexpected step

Lusine Kesoyan's analysis refers to the resent Kocharyan-Abrahamyan
unexpected meeting in the plane flying from the Czech Republic to
Armenia. As she tells, Kocharyans appearance in the plane caught the
speaker of the National Assembly in a surprise, and one of the MPs
Artak Zakaryan sitting next to Abrahamyan left his place for Kocharyan
and the flight took 3.5 hours.The second president of Armenia is not
someone who makes steps that are not preliminarily calculated to their
best and meeting Abrahamyan in the air was one of those making the
latter listen to him by all means and not have any chance of eluding.
As Kesoyan goes on, catching the high officials in a non-official
circumstances is an old manner to be in the center of the attention.
Kocharyan had initially announced that depriving Oskanyan from the
mandate speaks of the self-discrediting of the NA. This is a statement

talking about anything but not politics and states that it is almost
impossible to have two of the most influential figures in the

elections without major confrontations.
Appointing Abrahamyan the cheif of staff of the Republican party
speaks about the trust the speaker has among his party
representatives. The analyst states this is done because no one can
prepare for the elections and give positive results better than
Abrahamyan does.
As a conclusion, Kesoyan refers to Abrahamyan's statement according to
which the republican party is ready for a cooperation in the
presidential elections only this cooperation must not be at stake of
their dignity which means that the plane discussion most probably
refered to Republican party-PAP participation in the presidential
elections without any misunderstandings and in a favorable atmosphere.
