Turkey is of a better opinion about Armenia's foreign policy than it
really is, Tiran Lokmagezyan, former employee of Agos newspaper, Hrant
Dink's friend, said at today's press conference.
"I am discontent with the foreign policy of Armenia, specifically, the
policy aimed at the international recognition of the Armenian
Genocide. At the moment Turkey is thinking of resisting Armenia's
large-scale actions on the threshold of the Armenian Genocide
centenary. Meanwhile, Armenia is passive", he stressed. He said that
Ankara is taking all possible measures to make Yerevan quit the policy
of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, and Armenia has
the trump card but fails to take any measures.
In this context, Lokmagezyan also pointed out that the Armenian
foreign policy is passive. As regards possible establishment of
relations with Turkey, he said that it will be possible only in case
Armenia gives up the idea of independence of Nagorno-Karabakh.
