YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS: Armenia highly evaluates the
continuous deepening of cooperation with European Union. This was
noted by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on November 5
during the sitting of NA Committee on European Integration and the
Financial and Budgetary Affairs.
"Recently the framework of Armenia-EU cooperation has been considerably
expanded. Our relations with EU are provided with high dynamic, the
political dialogues and mutual visits have also activated. There is a
visible progress in the negotiations on signing Armenia-EU agreement"
noted Nalbandian.
"The negotiations have been temporarily suspended in the 28 chapters of
29 on sectoral cooperation, the negotiations on the creation of deep
and comprehensive free trade zone launched in June. There is already
a valuable progress in a result of the two phases; the negotiations
on visa regime facilitation have been already completed.
Cyprus Presidency of the European Union and the Commission reached
a preliminary arrangement to sign two agreements in the framework of
Armenia-EU Council sitting in Brussels" Armenpress quoted the Minister

According to Nalbandian, the agreement on Visa regime facilitation
will provide a list of Armenian civilians with an opportunity to
easily enter European countries.
