PREMIER OF KARABAKH: SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT TO IMPROVE SOCIAL, ECONOMIC SITUATION
STEPANAKERT, November 5. /ARKA/. Sustainable development of economy
will lead to better demographic, social and economic situation in
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and more reliable safety, Prime-Minister
of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ara Harutiunyan said at his
meeting with students of economic and legal department of Artsakh
State University.
NKR's government press service reports that the Prime-Minister
presented the country's development program for 2012-2017 and touched
upon the four important directions to ensure GDP growth of 9-11%
and annual growth of investments of 10-15%.
High growth rates are expected in agriculture, mining industry,
tourism and energy. The planned outcome is advanced growth for export
in relation to import, more than 5,000 new jobs, doubled minimum
wages, a 10-12% increase in agricultural domestic product, and etc,
Harutiunyan said.
Harutiunyan responded to students' questions at the end of the
