YEREVAN. - Head of the center providing services on veterinarian
sanitary and food safety Mamikon Gasparyan was dismissed over the
anthrax cases registered in Armenia, Armenian News-NEWS.am learnt.
The center is functioning at the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture. His
dismissal is linked to anthrax cases recently spread in Armenia
because of improper vaccination of the cattle. Gagik Vardanyan is
currently appointed as the acting director of the center until a
contest is announced.
