ARMENIA'S BUDGET TO ALLOT $196,218 FOR IT ASSISTANCE

YEREVAN. - AMD 80 million (approx. $196,218)-which is the same as in
the past two years-will be allotted from Armenia's 2013 State Budget
to assist the country's Information Technology (IT) sector, Economy
Minister Tigran Davtyan stated during Tuesday's budget discussions
at the National Assembly.
In addition, AMD 163,700,000 (approx. $401,510) will be allocated
for the Gyumri city technopark, which is under construction. This
projects aims to form an innovation system within the technopark.
