ARMROSGASPROM TOPS LIST OF 1,000 BIGGEST TAX PAYERS IN ARMENIA IN FIRST 9 MONTHS
YEREVAN, November 6. /ARKA/. ArmRosgasprom tops the list of 1,000
biggest tax payers of Armenia by the end of the first three quarters
of 2012, as published by the country~Rs State Revenue Committee.
According to the report, the company paid more than 22.6bln drams
to the government budget in January-September 2012, as compared with
15.9bln drams in the same period of the year before.
Of it, about 22.3bln drams was paid directly to tax authorities and
about 335.5mln drams was collected by the customs. Direct taxes
(profit tax, income tax) exceeded 1.2bln drams, indirect taxes
(including VAT, excise tax) were about 21.2bln drams, other taxes,
dues and fixed payments were 204.6mln drams.
Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine was the second biggest taxpayer
in Armenia that paid more than 16.4bln drams to the government budget
in January-September 2012, as compared with 22.6bln drams in the same
period of 2011. Of it, 14.8bln drams were collected by tax authorities
and more than 1.6bln drams by the customs.
Other big taxpayers were Aleks Grig (over 13.5bln drams against
more than 11.9bln drams in Jan-Sept 2011), mobile operator K-Telecom
(VivaCell-MTS trademark) (over 13.3bln drams against 12.3bln drams
in Jan-Sept 2011) and ~SArmenia Telephone Company~T (9.67bln drams
against 9.74bln drams in Jan-Sept 2012).
In total, 1,000 biggest tax payers transferred more than 394.9bln
drams to the government budget in the first 3 quarters of 2012,
as compared with 352.8bln drams in the same period of the year before.
