ARMENIA IS INTERESTED IN THE DEEPENING OF RELATIONS WITH BULGARIA. SERZH SARGSYAN
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
hosted Valeri Dimitrov the Chairman of the Counting Chamber of the
Republic of Bulgaria. As Armenpress was informed from the presidential
press office, Serzh Sargsyan greeted the guest and underlined that
Armenia was interested in the deepening of Armenia-Bulgaria relations
in any sphere which was of a bilateral benefit.
The Head of the country assured that the historical friendship of the
two nations was a strong basis which had created favorable conditions
to develop the ties. According to the President, the visit of Valeri
Dimitrov is an evidence of the willingness to deepen and strengthen
the relations.
Serzh Sargsyan stressed the importance of the experience exchange
with EU member country Bulgaria as Armenia was also on its way to
the European integration.
Chairman of the Counting Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria has noted
that it is preplanned to sign a document with his Armenian counterpart
on the cooperation of the Chambers, which will promote the further
expansion of the cooperation. Valeri Dimitrov spoke with a great
respect about the friendship and the history of the two nations and of
the Armenian community in Bulgaria which had a valuable investment in
cultural, economic and socio-political life of the Bulgarian Republic.
