Heritage party is ready to listen to Prosperous Armenia party's
proposal to switch to parliamentary system.
"If PAP comes up with such proposal we are ready to consult with them,"
deputy leader of Heritage party Armen Martirosyan said, adding that
his personal attitude toward it is positive.
At its yesterday's statement PAP faction's secretary Naira Zohrabyan
invited all the political forces to discuss the switch-over to
proportional representation.
Martirosyan said the issue on Free Democrats and Heritage parties'
split is closed and expressed opinion that it will not have any
negative impact on the rating of the party's leader Raffi Hovhannisyan,
running for presidency.
"The split can have some impact on these days, but it cannot have a
global impact," Martirosyan said, convincing that the Heritage party
has not said anything bad about Free Democrats.
As to activities connected with presidential elections, Heritage
party's deputy leader said they have already done their step by
nominating the candidacy of their leader. Martirosyan explained
the fact with not being connected with either external or interior
political fields.
