    ARMENIAN GENOCIDE EXHIBITION OPENS IN DENMARK'S COPENHAGEN

    Armenian Genocide and Scandinavian response exhibition opened November
    6 at Royal Library of Denmark's Copenhagen, organized by the Armenian
    embassy in Denmark and Danish Royal Library in collaboration with
    Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

    According to MFA's press service a number of ambassadors, diplomats
    accredited in Copenhagen, political, scientific, cultural figures,
    representatives of the Armenian community attended the event.

    The opening remarks were presented by the head of the Humanitarian
    Researches Library making part of the Royal Library Hans Christian
    Mickelson. Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan
    stressed in his speech the significance of the conduction of the
    exhibition in Copenhagen.

    In his speech Armenian ambassador Hrachya Aghajanyan noted that many
    citizens of Scandinavian countries have responded to the disasters
    Armenian people faced and initiated a wide humanitarian activity to
    save Armenians, give them shelter and food.

    The ambassador expressed gratitude to all the present and Danish Royal
    Library in particular, as well as Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute,
    on behalf of its director Hayk Demoyan.

    The exhibition will last till December 15.
