THE PERFORMANCE BASED UPON THE IONESCO'S PLAY WILL BE STAGED IN FRAMES OF THE STAGE DIRECTION FESTIVAL
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. In frames of the VII Youth Stage
Direction Republic Festival "The Chairs" play by Eugène Ionesco will
be introduced in "Antitheatre", Gyumri on November 7. It was staged by
the director Varduhi Grigoryan. As the Press Secretary of the Republic
Festival Vlad Mouradyan informed "Armenpress" Jean Paul Sartre's play
"Honorable Lizzy" will be staged in Vanadzor State Drama Theatre
after H. Abelyan directed by Tigran Sukiasyan.
11 performances are represented in frames of the festival this year
from the theatres of Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor. The distinguished
directors of the VII Youth Stage Direction Republic Festival will
leave to Moscow in summer of 2013 for the participation in the master
class of the International Theatre Festival after A. Chekhov.
The performances staged in the previous theatrical season of
the directors under 35 age can be involved in the VII Youth Stage
Direction Republic Festival. The famous experts, young critics and
audience participate in the festival.
First time the festival was held in 2006. The initiative of the Youth
Stage Direction Republic Festival belongs to the People's Artist of
the Republic of Armenia, Professor Yervand Ghazanchyan.
