GEORGIAN NEW PARLIAMENTARY SPEAKER READY TO GIVE A NEW IMPETUS TO
DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONS WITH ARMENIA

Yerevan/Mediamax/. The new head of the Georgian parliament, David
Usupashvili, is ready to give a new impetus to the development of
Armenian-Georgia interparliamentary relations.
The new speaker of the Georgian parliament said this at the meeting
with the Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia, Hovhannes Manukyan,
Mediamax reports.
David Usupashvili pointed out that after the meetings with UN and EU
ambassadors, this is his third meeting with the diplomat accredited in
Georgia and the first one held in the new building of the Georgian
parliament in Kutaisi.
As the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry reports, during the
meeting the parties discussed the problems of the Armenian community
of Georgia.
Ambassador Manukyan handed over to David Usupashvili the
congratulatory message of Armenian National Assembly speaker Hovik
Abrahamyan and an invitation to visit Armenia.
