THE DEVELOPMENT OF NKR IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT, THAN THE RECOGNITION OF NKR INDEPENDENCE BY AN AUSTRALIAN STATE: SERGEY MINASYAN
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The meeting of the Ministers of
Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and NKR was of a certain
importance, as there was a possibility that the meeting would not
take place due to the repatriation and release of Azerbaijani criminal
Safarov. During the press conference on November 8 this was announced
by the Deputy Director of "Caucasus" institute and political scientist
Sergey Minasyan, who emphasized his opinion regarding the fact that
both sides of the procedure of the negotiations do not trust each
other at all.
The political scientist underlined the importance of even a formal
continuation of the negotiations, as it reserves the present relative
ceasefire. As reports "Armenpress" Minasyan stated: "The format of
the OSCE Minsk Group will be preserved, as to the negotiations they
will continue. The military and technical balance will not permit to
resume the war."
The political scientists emphasized the importance of inhabitation
of the liberated territories. Minasyan stated: "It will support
demographic and economic upheaval and strengthening of the Armenian
position. The economic and demographic development of the Nagorno
Karabakh Republic is more important than the recognition of NKR
independence by an Australian state."
