Expert deems Syrian conflict Turkish domestic problem

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian political expert believes Syrian conflict
to be sort of a domestic problem in Turkey.
According to Anush Hovhannisyan, Turkish-Syrian hostilities will
further complicate the Kurdish problem.
`Cooperation of Syria's Kurdish community with Assad forces may affect
the balance of power,' the expert said.
`First, Ankara's decision to attack Syria will unite Kurds against
Turkey; second, Turkish population stands against launching offensive
against Syria; and third, Turkish involvement in the issue alone will
bring about major regional problems,' Ms. Hovhannisyan said, deeming
Turkey's offensive against Syria possible only in support of NATO
forces.
