Our subway has been killed deliberately and consistently, says Nikol
Pashinyan, a lawmaker from the opposition Armenian National Congress
(HAK).
"This strategic structure of national wealth does not receive any
profit," Pashinyan said at the sitting of the National Assembly's
Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, which considered a financial
agreement envisaging reconstruction of the Yerevan subway.
On behalf of the HAK faction, Nikol Pashinyan said that HAK does not
want the credit agreement to be included in the NA agenda.
"Everyone knows that there are back-offs. The disputed 13 billion
drams have vanished into thin air in the direct sense of the word," he
said.
The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) also disapproves of the agreement.
The two factions say that the credit burden should not be made
heavier. They also remind that the 2013 state budget envisages 380 mln
dollars for the debt recovery.
