During November 7 session of the NKR State Commission on regulating
the public services and the economic competition the issue of
reviewing the Internet service prices defined by the "Karabakh
Telecom" CJSC was discussed.
The company offers new prices to all the Internet subscribers which
will soon be introduced. Stipulated by the solution of a number of
technical problems there were no time limits specified during the
meeting yet they assured to be ready in about 15 days.
Thus, the minimal speed of the DSL modem operated Internet will be 512

Kbps. Incidentally, at present 80% of all the subscribers make use of
the DSL modem connection at the speed of 128 and 256 Kbps.
The price for the 1024/1024 kb/s Internet connection will be 4200

the price will constitute 7600 against 15399 drams and for 6144 /1024
kb/s it will be 14600 drams instead of 22399 drams.
