Turkish hackers have broken into the Twitter account of Diyarbakir
Mayor Osman Baydemir, who is Kurdish.
Also, the hackers posted Turkey's national flag on Baydemir's
account and wrote as follows: "Turkey is one country, one flag, and
one nation. [And] No one, including the PKK [that is, the Kurdistan
Workers' Party], can break this nation apart!", Milliyet daily of
Turkey informs.
To note, in recent times the Mayor of Diyarbakir has become the target
of criticism by the Turkish press and nationalists, and for allocating
a portion of the renovation costs for Diyarbakir's Saint Giragos
Armenian Church and his efforts to settle Turkey's Kurdish issue.
