    THE SITUATION IN ALEPPO IS CALM, BUT THE STRUGGLE ON THE TURKISH-SYRIAN FRONTIER FLARED UP: REISIAN

    YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Notwithstanding the clashes between
    the rebels and Governmental forces in several districts of Aleppo
    go on, the situation in the Armenian districts is calm. The Press
    Secretary of the Armenian National Prelacy in Aleppo Jirayr Reisian
    informed "Armenpress" about this and in addition he said that the
    situation in Aleppo, which was intense during the recent days, is
    peaceful now, the number of explosions and shooting has been reduced.

    According to Reisian the struggle on the Turkish-Syrian frontier flared
    up; particularly in the city of Ras al Ayn, where the governmental
    forces try to push the armed rebels back.

    The Arabian mass media state that it has been already three days that
    the Syrian military airplanes do not seize bombing the city of Ras
    al Ayn trying to control the situation.

    The Syrian SANA agency states that in the road from Damascus to Aleppo
    the rebels attacked three trucks, beat the drivers and robbed the
    vehicles. There have been 15 tons of humanitarian aid in the trucks
    - food, medicines and other goods. Two of the vehicles went in the
    direction of Aleppo, the third one to Idleb.

    Clashes in Syria lasting more than 12 months caused the death of more
    than 30 thousand people, including four dozens Armenians.
