THE YOUTH PEACE AMBASSADOR FROM ARTSAKH

Chairman of the Stepanakert contact of AEGEE - Europe Tigran Grigoryan
participated in the meeting within the framework of the "Youth Peace
Ambassadors" programme which was held at the European youth centre
in the Hungarian capital Budapest from November 6 to 8.
The "Youth Peace Ambassadors" programme is realized by the council
of Europe and within the framework of this project T. Grigoryan
participated in two seminars in Budapest and in Strasburg in 2011.
The "Youth Peace Ambassadors" programme is participated by more than
50 young people from different countries of Europe, particularly from
various regions of conflicts.
The programme is aimed at the maintenance and consolidation of peace
in Europe and in the adjacent regions as well as at teaching and
protection of human rights.
"In 2011 within the framework of this programme I convened a conference
dedicated to human rights in Stepanakert. I intend to conduct one-week
courses for young teachers in Stepanakert aimed at presenting the
informal teaching methods to them which later will be applied to the
formal education system," Tigran Grigoryan noted in his interview
to Karabakh-open.info.
