23 CONSULTANTS FROM ARMENIA RECEIVED CERTIFICATE IN THE MANAGEMENT CONSULTING ESSENTIALS WITH EU SUPPORT

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS: With the EU support 23 individual
consultants in Armenia have received Certificates in Management
Consulting Essentials (CMCE). The event was attended by Traian Hristea,
Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Mr. Jaap Sprey, Head of Regional
Program, EBRD Small Business Support Team, Mr. Valeriu Razlog, Head
of EBRD Yerevan RO and Marina Poghosyan Chairman of Armenian Institute
of Management Consulting.
"I am impressed with the dynamic start of the Institute of Management
Consulting of Armenia and the quality of the course they delivered.
This and the fact that today 23 Armenian consultants obtained CMCE will
undoubtedly contribute to the further development and consolidation
of the Armenian consultancy sector" said Jaap Sprey, Head of Regional
Program, EBRD Small Business Support Team. According to Traian Hristea,
Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, EU aims at improving the business
and economic environment in Armenia. This is a concrete example of
our joint efforts.
The overall objective of the course was to introduce internationally
recognized standards and best practices to local consultancy profession
and to raise the consultants' capacity to design, manage and implement
projects of high professional and ethical standards. The certificate
marks the successful completion of the Core Consultancy Skills and
Professional Ethics training course that took place end March in the
basis of which in participants prepared a written assignment of review
on basis of criteria set by the UK Institute of Consulting.
Traian Hristea, Head of EU Delegation to Armenia EU noted that through
this project they were providing grants for local organizations to
be able to hire local consultants.
Marina Poghosyan highly estimated the program and the support with
the help of which their organization had been formed.
