    HAYASTAN FUND TO LAUNCH EUROPEAN PHONETON ON NOVEMBER 15

    YEREVAN, November 14. / ARKA /. Hayastan (Armenia) pan-Armenian Fund
    said it will launch European phonethon on November 15 to raise funds
    for financing projects in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.

    It said over 700 Armenian and foreign volunteers from France, Germany,
    Switzerland and Belgium will be calling to Armenian families for
    three days from Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse to urge
    them to make donations.

    The Netherlands, Greece, Sweden, Brazil and Argentina will also
    join the campaign. The funds raised during the phoneton will be
    dedicated to building community centers in Nagorno-Karabakh rural
    communities, implementation of agricultural programs in the Tavush
    region of Armenia, as well as address the pressing problems of the
    Syrian Armenians.

    The event will feature famous French Armenian footballer Youri
    Djorkaeff and director of sports programs on France Television Daniel
    Bilalyan who will call on Armenians to make donations.

    Funds raised in 2011 phoneton were used to improve water supply systems
    in ten communities in Tavush region of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh,
    to refurbish the audio-visual center of Yerevan Music School after
    Tchaikovsky, to equip the Gyumri orphanage, built water supply system
    for the village of Karin-Tak in Nagorno-Karabakh.

    Phonethons in Europe have been conducted since 2000. During this
    period 411.285 telephone calls were made with about 21000 people
    donating 9,938,000 euros.

    The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund was founded in 1992. It is a unique
    institution whose mission is to unite Armenians in Armenia and
    overseas to overcome the country's difficulties and to help establish
    sustainable development in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. The Hayastan
    All-Armenian Fund implements its projects through a global network
    of 25 affiliates, which operate in the United States (Los Angeles
    and New York), Canada (Toronto and Montreal), France, Great Britain,
    Germany, Austria, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, Brazil,
    Lebanon, Argentina (Buenos Aires and Cordoba), Greece, Cyprus, Syria,
    Uruguay, Romania, Russia, Iran, Italy and Kuwait. The mentioned last
    10 affiliates have been opened in 2009-2012. -0-
