    LATVIAN FOREIGN AFFAIR MINISTER PAID A TRIBUTE TO THE VICTIMS OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

    YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS: The delegation headed by Latvian
    Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkevics visited Tstitsernakaberd,
    memorial perpetuating the memory of innocent victims of Armenian
    Genocide. As Armenpress reports, Latvian Minister laid a wreath at
    the Monument and flowers at the Eternal Fire.

    Hayk Demoyan, Museum Director hosted the foreign high ranking officials
    at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, introduced them with the
    exhibits of 20th century's greatest crime. The delegation members
    left their impressions in the Commemoration Book. "It is important
    to keep the memory of the victims aimed at repetition of similar
    crimes". Latvia's Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics is in an official
    visit to Armenia by the invitation of Armenian Foreign Affair Minister
    Edward Nalbandyan on November 14-16.

    Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic
    of Latvia were established on 22 August, 1992.
