EGYPT IS INTERESTED IN THE ARMENIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. The Head of the Department of Foreign
Relations of Yerevan Municipality Davit Gevorgyan had a meeting
with the representatives of the largest Travel Agency of the Arab
Republic of Egypt "Lucky Tours". The Department of Information and
Public Relations of Yerevan Municipality informed "Armenpress" that
the policy in the sphere of tourism adopted by Yerevan Municipality
has been introduced to the guests.
The Egyptian side mentioned that Yerevan can become very attractive
particularly from the viewpoint of the cultural heritage.
During the meeting the Head of the Tourism Division of the Department
of Culture and Tourism introduced the potential of Yerevan and
mentioned that the main stream of the development of tourism is
historical-cultural tourism. The tourists have an opportunity to
get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Yerevan, sightseeing,
Armenian unique cuisine etc... The guests also have been introduced
the unique tourism route of "Yerevan City Tour".
In order to make the cooperation more stabile the sides made a number
of agreements regarding the future cooperation.
