EUROPEAN AUDIENCE TOUCHED BY ARMENIAN INTERPRETATION OF "THE LITTLE PRINCE"

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS: The little Prince performance,
participating in "Festival of Arts" cultural musical festival held in
Bucharest included in the repertoire of Yerevan State Puppet Theatre
is already back to Homeland. Director Larisa Mangasarova stated in
the briefing with Armenpress, Armenian interpretation of classical
performance made a good impression on European audience .
A good festival was held, yet it had no competitive categories. Both
the children and their parents enjoyed the performance. The performance
was accompanied by Romanian translation version on the screen. In
the words of the director, Yerevan State Puppet Theatre received
an invitation to participate in the festival in the coming year as
well. Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Romania
Hamlet Gasparyan also attended the festival.
Mangasarova staged Little Prince in 2005. The music is written by
Artur Mitinyan, it sounded throughout the entire performance."
Festival of Arts" is not the first success of the performance. In 2006
it was awarded to Artavazd theatrical prize, as well as the same year
participated in a festival held in Iran.
